Caramel Cookies

I baked cookies for a family party.



This is the creamed sugar and butter.

I used a drop sugar cookie dough and replaced the granulated sugar with brown sugar.









With eggs added.. next dry ingredients, but my picture disappeared????






I  made my portions, and rolled them in brown sugar.  The thumbprint in center before cooking is to help them have a flat top.







After baking,  I put on caramel candy as a frosting.

They were welcomed guests.

*I'm not giving a recipe, it's only an adaptation of regularly found items.  Not too sweet and hum...caramel, not dot dandy.

  3. Someone told me if you use half brown and half white sugar in a sugar cookie recipe that it would create a chewy sugar cookie. I wanted to try that next. Your caramel version sounds amazing!
