Tomato Tomate

http://www.gardenandleisure.com/prodimages/small/wun6810s.jpg

I had not, until now, thought of my blog for the day.
Since I am off, on vacation from teaching, I am enacting so many plans that I dreamed of doing for so long.  HAAA
I think I am still tired and I have not yet set out to conquer my dream plans.

Plan 1.
Plant a garden...this I have done once,  almost, yet some things died and I am still in search of more cantaloupe starts, since the beetles ate mine.

Plan 2.
(still very much in action)
Work on blogging to improve site, posts, focus....  Uuummh?  Here I am today.

Plan 3.
3 to 83 projects in and about house.
Let's not mention those yet,  they will come forth on an "as need to know basis."

So back to today.  I had seen on other blogs with a translation button.  So I put it on and read a comment,  a very nice, welcome comment about gardening tomatoes, in French.    So...... I highlighted that, added the button and used it to read the comment in my own familiar English.  The part that made me laugh, I looked up to see my entire post in French!  I was thrilled.  I do not read French well, I only catch a few words ...I LOVED it.   I felt so versatile, confident and blog savvy.

You know the old song, "you say tomato and I say tomato"...now I say tomate, too.
Merry language learning,  Mary

  7. I'm in the same boat, trying to keep myself busy while school is out! I even thought about looking for a part time job, but I'm enjoying taking it day to day! And blogging definitely helps!

  12. Tomatoes are great, but like Anita, I cannot eat a raw one. I started tomatoes from seed this year, I had 72 plants! I gave a bunch away, but I have about 25 growing in my backyard. I will spend August doing a lot of canning!
