PORTRAIT OF SNOWFLAKE #2

What is that, you say, snow in July?
All of these pictures show possible, real, in fact, snow.
Yes, Snow in July!

Now our friend in the Southern Hemisphere can have snow in July...some can step out the back door and snap a picture of snow, today!

Above is a photo from Google Images of high elevation mountains, covered in snow...Yes,  this really does happen in the
 Rocky Mountains, snow in July.
When I was younger,  I was a camp councilor at a girls camp, located in the mountains.
We had snow in August.  Hey, that's close to July.

These lovely watercolors, by Kathy Los-Rathburn,  can be seen in July (and any other month.)

Below:  Snow Princess Lobularia Plant that only has part of it's name as snow, but so pretty, as snow in July.

Now guess what this is before you look.
Yes, it is snow.
Yes, it was listed as in July...and I believe it.

OK, now you can move down to see....

No, it is not the backside of a fern leaf.  It is not abstract art.
This is a NASA image of the mountain tops in my own back yard, Wasatch Mountain Range!
Snow covered mountain tops, in July, a very cool find.

  21. Hello lovely Mary,

I'm giving out party favors today. In addition to the first two prizes won by Jan and Chrislyn, I made a tag for each Snow in July guest. I have most of my guests' addresses from over three years of blogging, but I'm still missing a few including yours. You may stop by the shop to email your mailing info if you like; however, if you prefer not to give out your mailing address online, I would totally understand.

Thank you again for joining us.
    Much love,
    Marcia
