Cycle Pretty

Pretty perky petal bikes...my daughter called them beach cruisers.
These bikes have fat tires, but I also think they do well on the paved paths, I have avoided the sand.
That's it, perky paved path petal bikes.
I like the retro bikes in current colors.

That's a fun way to start a summer Monday in July.

Any one up for a bicycle ride?

  1. I love bicycling. It is so liberating and freeing.

I had the normal Schwinns with banana seats when I was a kid (a red hand me down from my brother, and then a blue hand me down from my brother. LOVED riding those two bikes. When I hit my teenage years I bought a 10 speed (can't even remember the brand, although I'm pretty sure it's still in my parents garage...30 years later). I rode it maybe 3 times. The last time I had a major accident (ok, not major but it was my excuse). I didn't ride again until I was in my late 20's. I bought a trek Navigator....it's a comfort/hybrid bike. I ride it primarily on the C&O canal. I'm HOPING to get a roadbike sometime VERY soon!

  4. Hi Mary,
    Thanks for stopping by.
Glad you did. Please come back soon.

The top of that mountain trail in one of your others posts is so impressive...that little red circle just puts quite the perspective on how far up it is doesn't it.

The Bike is wonderful. Its really pretty.
Wish I could do a really nice bike ride...I miss that.

Hoping you have a wonderful afternoon.

    In Him,
    Grace

  6. my first bike was blue and it was a girl bike but a boy color. that always bugged me. but, what bugged me more was that it got stolen right from our front yard - close to the front door - on friday the 13th in September --- in a rain storm. remember?

  7. I remember my first bike. It was white and blue and had fat tires. That was the norm in my day. Currently I have a twenty Five year Schwinn coaster/beach/fat tire bike in purple. Loved it! Hugs, Ginger

  8. Love those bikes. I don't have one, but have been considering getting one of the old style bikes. I would probably break something, though. lol

My first bike was a blue Schwinn 3 speed. We lived 2 miles out of town, but we didn't have a car when my dad was at work, so I rode my bike into town to go to the library. I loved to read.
