For Purple Mountain's Majesty..

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_kKOJHKHj_Rw/TNcnJly0OTI/AAAAAAAABeo/ghNAAjtnDRo/s1600/purple+mountain.jpg

This is gorgeous, but I don't know where it is.  I love the purple, due to sunset or sunrise.

One time, age 19, I climbed Mt. Olympus, in Salt Lake City, with some friends.  It took all day to get up and back down.  We left early in the morning, as sun was coming up.  When we were coming down, it really made the legs tired.  I wondered if the next step down would be too much for me, and me legs would give way.   The water we had taken was long gone.  We were close to the bottom when we came to a spring...it really looked like a clear puddle of water, 2 inches deep,  20 inches in diameter, right in the path.  Every one, every one, was stopping, dropping to the ground on tummy  and drinking from the pool.
Today, my daughter said, "oooh, you drank that water?!"   Yes, I did!

Happy 4th of July,  Mary

Have a happy Independence Day. We often drank from the springs that were near our home and I managed to survive. :-)
