  3. We have hostas but the snails and slugs love them and it is a bad year for slugs here so not good, well not for us or the hostas.....

  4. I love hostas. My daughter has them growing in her little DC garden courtyard. I don't have any here. (But then, I don't have much here, me with a brown thumb and all.)

  6. I love hostas for bordering. I have many of them. They're so tolerant of anything except too much sun, they divide so easily, and make such a nice visual touch to a flower garden.

  8. You hostas look so healthy. Mine have holes in the leaves. Not sure what's eating them. Great photo for Green Day.

  19. Hi Mary!

Greetings from Ireland (and the sun is shining
    and no rain today
which is very hard to believe)!!

I wanted to thank you for joining up with "Green Day" on Friday.

I am sorry that I am so late in visiting you but I was on holiday and only arrived back in the early hours of this morning, so lots and lots of catching up to do!

    Wishing you a lovely Thursday

    Take care
