"What, I cannot believe it.  I haven't seen you for ____ years!"
This was spoken over and over again at my high school class reunion.
Wow...the faces from the past!

I was on the reunion committee so I know the meal payment was requested by July 27,  for the catering count.  Haahahaha.
Do you think that happened?
I love these people, I really do...
We had people arrive to pay, and some just showed up...and we were really wondering if we would have enough food.
We did!

 So much food.  Whew!

What a night. What FUN and what great people!

a.  awesome
This is her...the old school building.  Now gone.

s.  simple
We kept it simple by using the city park, then we crossed the street for dinner we had set up in the
Lions Club building.

y.  yes - positive
So nice of Lions to let us use their building.
What a great group of people.
And I do not think all Lion's clubs have a building?...and they just handed us the key.  So sweet.

Have you been back to your high school?
Do you ever see anyone from your high school class?
What is a favorite memory of school?

Merry memories,
Mary

Thank you for joining
 e.a.s.y. tuesday
thankyou

  1. I still live within 20 miles of where I attended high school. I have several childhood friends that I still keep in touch with. Not used as a school any longer, at least the building is still standing. In fact, a log cabin that the FFA built in the 40's is still on the property, as well.

  5. I bet that was fun and exhilarating...the whole spiel. But exhausting too.

I've been out of high school for nearly 50 years...NEARLY. LOL

Your school looks huge, no wonder you were worried about not having enough food.

  6. Such a sweet post, brought back lots of memories. So nice to visit your blog today - I will be back for sure and you won't need a committee to plan the reunion!

  7. Added it...thank you for the suggestion!

I am glad your reunion was a success! No, I have not been back to my school. My 20 year reunion is a couple of years away, I didn't attend the ten year one. We lost 3 relatives in three weeks right around the time of the ten year one and it was just a very hard time. Looking forward to the 20, though!

  8. Nice post. I haven't been back to my school, although it's only 10 miles away. It would probably be unrecognizable on the inside. My favorite memory about school was graduation.

  10. How fun! The city is trying to change the mascot of our high school and has everyone up in arms about it. Whatever they decide, I always was, and always will be, a Rebel!

  13. The old school looks similar to the school I attended, only a lot larger. My old school is gone now too. You photo brought back memories of it.

  14. I'm so glad your reunion went well! Event planning can be super stressful but it seems like you handled it with aplomb! (Did I use that word right? I don't think I've ever used it before!) I married my high school sweetheart and I keep up with a few special high school people on facebook and in real life, so I doubt I'll feel the urge to attend the next reunion, but who knows?! Happy Tuesday!

  18. I still have many of my school friends that I am in contact with. My best friend and I have been best friends for over 50 years..we see each other all the time. It is nice to see at reunions that most people have gotten wiser and nicer with age. LOL Glad you enjoyed your get together.

  19. Hi Mary,

Sounds like you had a fun time! I have yet to go to a class reunion of mine...coming up on 25 years next year. And I now live in the same town again that I was born, raised and attended school, but I don't run into many old classmates.

Have a good rest of the week!

  21. a Problem: HP Printer not connecting to my laptop.
I had an issue while connecting my 2 year old HP printer to my brother's laptop that I had borrowed for starting my own business. I used a quick google search to fix the problem but that did not help me. I then decided to get professional help to solve my problem. After having received many quotations from various companies, i decided to go ahead with Online Tech Repair (www.onlinetechrepairs.com). Reasons I chose them over the others:
    1) They were extremely friendly and patient with me during my initial discussions and responded promptly to my request.
    2) Their prices were extremely reasonable.
    3) They were ready and willing to walk me through the entire process step by step and were on call with me till i got it fixed.
    How did they do it
    1) They first asked me to state my problem clearly and asked me a few questions. This was done to detect any physical connectivity issues with the printer.
    2) After having answered this, they confirmed that the printer and the laptop were functioning correctly.
    3) They then, asked me if they could access my laptop remotely to troubleshoot the problem and fix it. I agreed.
    4) One of the tech support executives accessed my laptop and started troubleshooting.
    5) I sat back and watched as the tech support executive was navigating my laptop to spot the issue. The issue was fixed.
    6) I was told that it was due to an older version of the driver that had been installed.
    My Experience
I loved the entire friendly conversation that took place with them. They understood my needs clearly and acted upon the solution immediately. Being a technical noob, i sometimes find it difficult to communicate with tech support teams. It was a very different experience with the guys at Online Tech Repairs. You can check out their website www.onlinetechrepairs.com or call them on 1-914-613-3786.
Would definitely recommend this service to anyone who needs help fixing their computers.
Thanks a ton guys. Great Job....!!
