Sunflower

Ode to summer.
When these show up very frequently along the street, road, highway, I know Summer heat is in full swing.
It also means school is starting and off I go to teach.
I joke about it, yet here I want to say how grateful I am for my job and for the many wonderful children that come to me in my classroom.
Ode to summer,
Merry,  Mary

  7. We have loads of sunflowers here but the farmers and ranchers don't care for them as they sap the moisture. They need every bit of moisture for the grass to grow for the cows to eat. Hope you are having a nice week-end.

  21. Mary -Nice to meet you. thanks for joining in a Spots and Wrinkles. I, too, loved the Guernsey and Potato Peel Society. I actually got to hear the author speak at an author's luncheon in Sacramento a few years ago and she was terrific.
