Very impressive bear shot!
WHOAH!!!!!! What a wonderful glimpse of life in Alaska! OH dear....do you know that I saw two black bears on the grass on the side of the FREEWAY one day as we were heading out of the Twin Cities??? YIKES!!!HI MARY! Thanks for coming by! Isn't that blue-green house on my post just magical?Have a glorious day; I am out on a substitute teaching assignment today....my first for the school year! Anita
The hubby went on a men's retreat in our Georgia Mtns. back in Aug. While there, they saw a small bear. One of the "young" men (early twenties) was getting a little too close and his dad was just about to correct him (which would have been embarrassing!) when he got smart and backed away! You don't want to mess with those bears...no matter where they live!! :-)
It really is an adventure to visit Alaska! What a great photo! Now tell her to hop back in the car!
what a shot! :)
Just the fact that she was able to take a photo of the bear makes me think she is way too close, LOL! It is a great shot, though!
I'm thinking your daughter was very close to that bear! Yikes!
Wow, looks like she was close to that bear. Too close. Unless it was a zoom lens. Even slightly blurry, it's still a good one!
what a great shot! thanks for sharing your daughter's view! holy smokes, he's pretty!
wow! the bear looks so close to the camera. takes courage! they're beautiful creatures but a bit too wild. gave me the chills to think how close she was to the bear to get this shot. but well done. it's amazingly pretty. xxo
Great Bear!! Too close for comfort!
wow! so close! i have never seen bear in the wild but one was shot right outside of town...makes me mad. such a great animal! enjoy your evening.
How cool, I love to see bears. Your daughter got a great shot!
MARY DARLING! You run your own school? YIKES! That is impressive! My first sub assignment went well yesterday! I was in a "regular" fourth grade class for I had been teaching nine years in a French immersion fourth grade class and what a DIFFERENCE! It was fun and I have another half day assignment this Friday.Thank you for coming over. I think I will feel good about teaching part time like this, bringing in a little income as I try to sell art. It is tough, but such a necessity for me!Have a great day! Anita
