Three Kings

Here is a fun visual with great music.
I like these musicians very much.  I love the message of the wise men paying respect and honor to the new born Christ.

Our nativity program was rained out tonight.  For most Decembers the precipitation is snow!
This is much different.

A happy item of the day was:  my little neighbor boy from church came with his cute mom, and gave me a Christmas gift.  He is soooooooo cute.

Have your received any super gifts thus far?

Have your given any wonderful gifts thus far? (And I do not mean a teens super extravagant wish for delux electronics, hahahahaaaaa)

Merry gift giving, Mary

  2. Good morning dear Mary!

Though I am a sub this year, the only precious gifts I have received are the smiles of second graders, the raucous laughter of seventh graders, the respect of ONE ninth grader, and the realization that children really DO WANT and need your love.

Oh how fun is this VIDEO!!!!!!!! HAVE A BLAST MARY! Anita

I haven't given any wonderful gifts. But I have been taking photos of people's barns and send them Christmas cards made from the photos.

  8. Since I retired, we don't have as much disposable income as we one had so we have to be much more creative in our gift giving. I actually think the gifts are better now.

  9. My best friend wrote me a poem...her very first and then bought me a GPS for our back road wanderings...she is tired of getting lost :) The second picture of the three wise men is beautiful and I am very sorry your nativity got rained out. I know a lot of work goes into preparing for them....I gave my grandson his present early this year...we paid for a very expensive parking ticket for him LOL

  11. I'm cutting back on gifts this year because we've given our children some things they needed earlier in the year. It's been nice not to have to worry overmuch about the shopping!
Love the photo of the 3 wise men.
    Merry Christmas!
