This is a lovely winter day here.
We have new snow again.
(The roads are clear, so the slip and slide factor is low!)
I love the snow for Christmas. I think that stems from childhood memories of playing in the snow.
I loved that as a kid.
We played out of doors until hands were so cold we had to give up and go indoors.

I think of God's knowledge of and love for all his children.
The tragedy of Connecticut is some of the pain the Savior took upon himself.
I offer my prayers in their behalf.
Play the you tube here for Oh, Emmanuel for a wonderful rendition of Christmas music.
Merry Christmas,
Mary

so beautiful xx
ReplyDeleteMary, you have snow!! I always love to see pictures of the snow, as we don't get much of it here in sunny California. There is snow up in the mountains, which I hope to live someday, but I will just enjoy your snow for now. This is a White Christmas, indeed. Have a warm weekend.

Lovely snowy scene, a winter wonderland! I am glad it is not slippery though! Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteso wonderful ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteMany greetings Sabine
It's so warm here, we had rain, but I'm so happy for it.
ReplyDeleteLove the wet snow on the tree and everything white!! We never see that around here! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhat I wouldn't do for a white Christmas. Not likely, given I live in Australia. Alas, it's bound to be a hot and sweaty Christmas for me.
ReplyDeleteOh Mary! I'm so jealous of your snow! I don't think we had ANY last winter....it was way too warm. We haven't had any this year yet, either. I got spoiled when we had White Christmases about four years a row recently. Please send us some here in the Midwest! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you do have a white Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI like to look at snow, but going out in it...not so much! So far no slipping and sliding here.
ReplyDeleteNo snow here. It's a record. Lovely pictures.
ReplyDeleteI've only seen snow on Christmas a few times in my life. Two years ago we had a white Christmas. Ever so often we'll get flurries but rarely does it stick.
ReplyDeleteOf course people go craze behind the wheel here, so it's probably a good thing it doesn't happen very often :)
Oh that is so beautiful. I love the look of snow, especially with the sun shining in a bright blue sky!
ReplyDeleteFunny how we like to have snow for Christmas, and there was no snow where Jesus was born. : )
No snow for us in Florida. I hope to have a white Christmas when we live in NC.
ReplyDeleteYour snow is beautiful! There is a chance of snow here for Christmas Eve, and Christmas day. My fingers are crossed.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your words regarding the tragedy in CT. Prayers for the families, and our entire country.
I believe God was with those children all the way. Your snow is very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI can't for us in the Uk to have some of the white stuff. It's all just rain here at the moment
ReplyDeleteIt is a tragedy beyond words...God came to the world to give us hope and eternal life...he is with the family's as they mourn...he is with us as we mourn with them. Peace on earth...goodwill towards man. They are not gone...just gone ahead.
ReplyDeletestill waiting for snow....********
